Rail- Max : 45 tonne JCB Crawler Road Rail Excavator Crane

This is our flagship Road/Rail Excavator Crane known as ‘Rail-Max’ because it is the largest machine in our range and design to maximise the W6A UK railway gauge enabling most power and performance.

It can be fitted with an additional 5.5 tonne auxiliary demountable counterweight option when it is undertaking dedicated lifting duties with various optional interchangeable boom types and configurations.

It is engineered by Rail-Ability Ltd utilising a multitude of JCB machine model subassemblies to offer optimised ‘big machine’ performance whilst complying with W6A tunnel gauge requirements.

This machine offers our best combination of dig and lift capabilities available to date.
